Mission and Objectives

MicroNed was created to improve the quality of its members' services and to increase effectiveness and efficiency of its members. Therefore its mission is to strengthen and coordinate the joint contribution of its member organisations to the microfinance sector, through sharing of each others expertise and experiences, through joint knowledge development and through capacity development of staff. Furthermore MicroNed wants to increase the visibility of the Dutch offer and its role in international processes, knowledge development and debates.

MicroNed's goals are:
1. Strengthened members expertise in relevant aspects of microfinance;
2. Increased efficiency through cooperation and coordination;
3. Improved transparency of total MicroNed member grant activities for microfinance;
4. Better international positioning/Increased involvement in international fora and debates.
